WSA recently lost long time member and head of the hunting committee Mark Stern.

Mark Stern passed away on March 25th as a result of some pre-exiting medical conditions. He was an avid hunter and a longtime member of the Walpole Sportsman
Association.

Mark’s interest in sporting began in the waters of Lake Cochituate with our father and the woods of N.H. His passion later prompted him to join the WSA. The WSA was very important to Mark. It meant wonderful friendships, a strong sense of community, and a refuge from life’s stresses.

The WSA honored Mark by making a generous donation to our family. We were moved to tears by the kind gesture and all that it symbolized. Thank you.

Mark’s great smile, infection laugh, good sense of humor, and caring heart will live on in the memories of his friends and family.
